An online embroidery course for beginners which I have created over the last 10 months and after years of teaching hundreds of women to learn this precious craft.

I built this course around the three most important aspects of learning:

Skills

you learn stitches, materials, tools, tips and shortcuts, how to navigate around a design, read a pattern, thread needles in the most awesome way ever, how to use a hoop comfortably, my very own technique of choosing colours and more!

Practice

then we take all that and actually make a finished piece from beginning to end. Here you create a drawstring bag project beautifully embroidered and here is where you get to practice the skills on a real project. We don’t just stop on the sampler!

Inspiration

you’re here for more than just a “how to”, right? I am guessing you enjoy my style and colour work and want to see more of what you can make. I take you through loads of my own projects, show you how i have finished them off, show you colour ways you can use and inspire you with a tonne of my own work. There’s one special piece I show you at the end of the course which is the size of two dining tables… and it’s something you can make too. No I’m not joking.

Are you a knitter? Got a stash of yarn at home? Even if you aren’t and you don’t stitching with wool on linen is A-AMA-ZING. Why because of the texture, softness and thick tactile results. Wool embroidery is a beautiful and slow craft and I teach my unique techniques and as well as get you skilled on choosing the right type of yarn for this kind of work. The results are stunning but are simple to apply.

You will use both ply and single spun yarn for different effects and will learn a variety of both filling and outline stitches. Perfect for those who have done some embroidery previously.

If you only knew how simple making your own stencilled and embroidered creations is you would be stunned! There is method to every madness and in this awesome online class (and never before taught as an in-person workshop) I take you through the steps of designing and cutting your own stencils, then printing onto your fabric and finally covering with luscious embroidery stitches. This class is inspired by the traditional Polish paper cutting techniques that i learned as a child growing up in Poland.

This technique is perfect for creating big statement pieces like table cloths, big skirts, large wall hangings, or go for something smaller like a cushion cover. The beauty of this combination of techniques is that you don’t need all that much stitching! I show you the best stitches and best colour combinations to bring glorious results and stun your friends. Or stun yourself, even better! The class comes with not only video tutorials but all your necessary PDF’s such as patterns, materials lists, stitch descriptions etc.
