THIS IS A DIGITAL PRODUCT FOR DOWNLOADING.

Bright and cheerful trio of bold flowers. If you love bright and loud colours this pattern is for you. Lots of satin and leaf stitching as well as stitches on top of stitches, making this a wonderfully tactile, chunky and textured embroidery project. This feels wonderful once finished. It has a lovely weight to it under all that thread. I have included a few alternate options in the instructions as well to simplify the stitches if you’re not keen on doing too much satin stitching. There are also gorgeous clusters of french knots for those who love the repetitive mindfulness of this isolated stitch.

The example stitched up here is on pink linen but it looks equally well on other bright colours such as yellow, orange or bright green or blue. Go for primary colours of fabric if you have a stash at home.

This pattern features the following stitches:

  • Satin Stitch

  • Fly Stitch

  • Stem Stitch

  • French Knot

  • Single Stitch

The instructions will show you which stitch to place where and also how many strands of cotton to use. I have designed the instructions to give you as much guidance as possible and I’ve included some great tips which will help you along with satin stitch if you’re a little rusty with this stitch or if it causes you frustration. There are easy ways to stitch using satin stitch and I show you various ways in the instructions. All the DMC thread colours are listed so you can create the same results as in the photos.

On my website you will also find short videos featuring the above mentioned stitches if you don’t know them or just don’t remember how to start!

The PDF is packed with inspirational photos and ideas as well as clear instructions for the embroidery.
